In Lunar Knights, you take control of two different heroes, Lucian and Aaron, one powered by the sun, one powered by the moon, in an attempt to free the world from the vampiric legion. If you are familiar with the Vampire Hunter (Baktai GBA) series, you\'re already familiar with Lunar Knights. It is, however, Kojima Productions\' first foray on the Nintendo DS, and it\'s one worth a look.

We probably don\'t even have to publish this review, because World of Warcraft is a game that carries its own legion of fans. The ever-popular World of Warcraft\'s first expansion, The Burning Crusade, is here, and WoW players will absorb it into the fold simply because it\'s more of what they already love: World of Warcraft. If you managed to pry yourself from the game, then don\'t get the expansion...because you might find it hard to walk away again. The powers that be have opened new doors to adventure, and it\'s hard to turn your back on that a second time.

Greg Hastings\' Tournament Paintball Max\'d brings all the splatter-y excitement of the paintball arena to the Nintendo DS. First-person shooters are always popular, and the paintball games have been appreciated by parents who aren\'t comfortable blowing up their kids into meaty chunks, but still want to play some fun virtual tag. So George was excited to try out GHTP Max\'d on his favorite handheld. The verdict? Well, you\'ll have to read the review for that.

Game publisher Acclaim has risen from the ashes and is making a comeback. So far the publisher has two titles in the works: BOTS and 9 Dragons. BOTS is, obviously, a robot-based game which allows players to customize their metal men to their liking, purchasing new items online. These upgrades, which number in the hundreds, help make the BOTS undefeatable machines of mayhem as players compete with each other in the arena. This is the first from the company, which plans for many more. Oh, and did we mention that this is a totally FREE online game? Yep. Astro Boy has been praised by reviewers since its release in 2003. Another gem from Treasure, Astro Boy proves there is still some enjoyment to find in the 2D action gaming arena. A shooter/platformer in the vein of Gunstar Heroes, Astro Boy brings Osamu Tezuka\'s world reknowned character to life on the Game Boy Advance. We rarely get Astro Boy releases in the US, which is another testament to just how good this game is. Check out the conclusion to Robert\'s six-part retrospective here. Fittingly, Robert looks at how the legendary Treasure and the legendary Tezuka combine to create a GBA title that should be in every gamer\'s library.

Now, they are hard at work on Cult of Mithras, an expansion to Legion Arena that combines ancient history and ancient mythology. Now you\'ll pit Roman legions against armies of ghosts, shadow warriors, or fire demons, and fight for your gods as you battle your way to Elysium. Featuring enhanced graphics noticeably better than the original game, the latest screens from Cult of Mithras look great. Check them out here.

While Legion Arena may have a lot to live up to in the historical strategy genre (like Rome: Total War), the war title from publisher Strategy First and developer Slitherin Soft. does a fairly good job of being its own game. Not as deep as Rome: Total War, but not as frustrating or as difficult, either. If you\'re looking for something to take you back in time but not drive you insane at the same time, Legion Arena offers a fun experience without the punishment for losing. Legion Arena operates on the concept that, sometimes, too deep a strategy title just isn\'t fun.

Quake 4 arrives on the Xbox 360 and all of its next-gen processing glory and gore. Built on the Doom 3 engine for super-hot graphical prowess, this time out ye olde Quake features both a single-player Strogg hunting single-player story and the intense arena action we\'ve come to expect from the series. Hockey has been through some hard times, but we\'re finally enjoying a year back on the ice. Also returning to the arena is 2K Sports\' franchise installment, NHL 2K6. NHL 2K6 makes its way onto the Xbox 360 with a graphical polish and some additions to gameplay. Is this the must own hockey game for the next generation? FPS Creator is a remarkably useful tool for making first-person shooters. Single player FPS narratives are possible using the many premade program elements, which can quickly be applied to your characters and props. Arena games are also supported, although we\'re no convinced that\'s the big attraction here. Really, we just want to make a GamesFirst! theme FPS like Deus Ex. Or maybe \"This Game Sucks: The Game\"? Keep an eye out for it. In the meantime, check out Shawn\'s review of FPS Creator.

Heavy.com has expanded its machinima offerings and broken new ground in the IPTV arena with the announcement of the first-ever full season of broadband-distributed programming. The network has announced several new shows, including \"Honey, I Killed the Geezer\" (created using Atari\'s Indigo Prophecy), \"Tourettes Cowboy\" (created using Activision\'s GUN), and \"Dr. Philprah, Colossus Whisperer\" (created using Sony\'s Shadow of the Colossus). There are several more series slated to premiere this month, and each will see multiple episodes released this Fall.
